It's a pretty wild world out there and we're just trying to figure out life, love and death. It's a jungle out there, the survival of the fittest as they say. In this exhibition, I, Careshia Esperanza, try to convey my love for wild and wonderful colours together with having fun while asking deeper questions. 

You'll see many symbols like eyes, nipples, genitalia and monsters. I find it rather boring to only draw people because we can get so self-absorbed with our likenesses. In saying that, I love to draw creatures or so to say monsters. They're fun and they can look any way they want, no social norm has been placed on them. They can just be crazy little or not-so-little monsters. I also find it more fun to paint people naked, clothing just feels "meh" to me mostly.
